1/32nd BOC MEETING 18th & 19th March 2006

You are warmly invited to come and race the final round of the 1/32nd BOC season in Blackpool to be held on our 135 foot, 6 lane circuit. With spacious facilities and hot & cold food & drink available throughout both days we aim to make this a fitting finale to the season and look forward to seeing you.

TIMETABLE

Saturday open practise from 1.00 - 6.30 pm with option of warm up race or more practice until 7.30pm
Saturday Evening social meal gathering approx 8.30pm
Sunday 8.00 – 9.00am practice with priority for Sunday arrivals. 9.00 – 10.00am open practice. Race start 10.15 am preceded by drivers briefing.

RACE FORMAT

Saloon: 3 by 3 minute heats with best to count for qualifying order. 6 x 3 minute segment finals – win the event from any final.

F1 and Sports : 2 sets of 3 x 3 minute segment races with best race to count. Top 6 into single lane distance A Final (75 laps) to decide top 6 places. Next 6 into B Final for places 7th – 12th etc. Lower finals may have less finalists if entry not a multiple of 6.
Please note format may be adjusted according to entry level especially if less than 16 entrants (which hopefully will not happen)

ENTRY FEES

£7.00 per class, £20.00 full entry. Half price juniors.

DIRECTIONS

Leave M55 at junction 4 turning right onto A583 Preston New Road and follow the map on the location page of the web site. Please do not park on forecourt of Carpet Warehouse which is open both days.

ACCOMODATION

There are thousands of hotels with vacancies on the night in Blackpool at this time of year. The nearest chain hotel is Premier Lodge just 200 yards to the left of the M55 junction on the map.

CONDUCT

The shop below our room is open both days which means warnings will apply even during practise so please be aware we have no choice but to be strict in fairness to our neighbours.
